"What Is Worship?"
Every breath is worship!
"I was always brought up with the philosophy and the awareness that
everything belongs to the Creator and thus we have a thankful heart, not just on
Sunday, but every day of the week, every month of the year and every year of our
lives. I never considered that spirituality, just my obligation and
gratitude to our Creator above. It was not until I became a Christian that
I realized that what I was doing was worship and that many cultures I met
categorize worship to a box and when we got together it was worship, but for me,
every breath was worship. The very word for God in our Language expresses
worship. It is "Bik' egu indan" which means "The Giver of
life, the Giver of breath and the Giver of everything." So it
was only natural for me that if everything belonged to the creator, then I
needed to expressed my gratitude in everything I do."
