1) - The Church has a lot of work to do among the First Nations People.

A beautiful people............with a rich heritage.
A proud people............treated shamefully for 500 years.
A forgotten people............in a dominant white culture.
A rejected people............still on the lookout for acceptance.

After 500 years of missions to Native Americans less than 3% claim to know Jesus personally.

2) - The Open Door Mission has been established for 15 years Bringing Jesus to      Native People in a cultural way.

3) - The Open Door Mission allows for short term (3 days) to up to longer time frame (8 days) Outreaches on the Yakama Nation.   

4) - The Open Door Mission allows for Youth Groups, Adult Groups and or Family Groups to come to Yakama Nation Outreaches.

5) - The Open Door Mission provides Missions Orientated Groups to come to a third- world Nation within the boundaries of the Continental United States.

6) - The Open Door Mission provides Mission Orientated Groups to experience short term Missions without great expense financially.  <see fees page>

7) - The Open Door Mission provides Mission Orientated Groups with Missions Training Courses as well.

8) - The Open Door Mission provides Churches and Mission Orientated Groups a site for Prayer Retreat Times.

MISSION GROUP FEES

Minimum Cost Per Person:

$35.00 per person
This does not include food, supplies,
or building materials.


Minimum Cost Per Person Including Food:

$35.00 per person
$8.50 per person, per day
This price includes three meals & snack.
It does not include supplies, or building materials.


Building Materials Cost Per Person:

The cost for building materials will vary
depending on the group and the project.
It will be decided prior to group arrival
by the Group Leader and the Mission
Director.  Please call for further info.
