Welcome To My Personal Reflections Page

I believe there are lessons to be learned in all of creation.  Our great and gracious CREATOR LORD has not left us on our own to come to know HIM, instead HE has chosen to teach us many things through HIS creation for our benefit.

Personally, I have learned a great deal from the buffalo more than any other animal CREATOR has made.

The buffalo deliberately remains with the herd in all normal circumstances,

but is fiercely independent when necessary.

The life of the buffalo was not it's own, he lived for CREATOR'S good pleasures and to sustain the lives of the Original American People -

Buffalo And The Plains Indians

I can easily see that the FATHER is shown as very patient with those that belong to HIM just as the buffalo is patient in the environment he lives in.  JESUS gave everything HE had to purchase salvation for mankind when HE let evil men hang HIM on the cross.  Every bit of HIM was scarified for us and we gained life through the sacrifice of HIS body.  As JESUS died for the sins of man, the same man was given eternal life in HIS Name if they would believe in HIM.

My personal opinion in regard to the Majority Culture's refusal to accept and honor Native Americans as equals.

It is a grievous thing that the guests of this land most often refuse to walk in humility before the CREATOR in their relationships with the Original American People. It is well past the time for all men, regardless of the color of their skin or culture to understand that we are all the same before the CREATOR of all men everywhere.

Personally, I am extremely humbled as I continue to educate myself and discover how the original American's have been so horribly treated by the European people's (95 million Native American's murdered so far) in order to steal from them their personal possessions such as land, gold, silver, trees, river's and lakes to name a few.  I see very little thankfulness from the Majority Culture [includes majority of Non-Native Churches] for the incredible blessings that have been shared with them by the Original American's.

History teaches us that the very real willingness of many of the Original American's to share their possessions was most often rejected by the invaders who would only be satisfied by exterminating the care takers of the land.  That often included innocent women, children and the aged who could not defend themselves against large bands of attackers or army's.

**Be sure to read the 'massacres' page in order to get some form of understanding of the invaders seemingly inability to live among the Original American's as human beings.

Often the gospel of JESUS CHRIST was presented to the Original American's with a Bible in one hand and a gun in the other.  The clear message was to turn away from the Indian way (dammed), or be murdered where you stand.  No wonder less than 3% of all Native American's have received JESUS as their personal SAVIOR after more than 200 years of preaching by the Majority Culture.  Only a few miles from where I live exists a famous Indian School originally built in order to take 'the Indian' out of the Yakama children.  Any lack of obedience to take on European ways by completely abandoning all cultural thinking and acts, often lead to torture and or murder.

Even a moderate attempt to educate oneself in the true history of America will bring repentance to the heart of a Christian in regard to how the Original American People have every right to be sorrowful that the Europeans ever came to this continent.

It is my personal opinion that what GOD intended to be a blessing for all by bringing the European people to America was mostly ruined by the sin, greed and avarice of the majority of those who came to this continent.  Today, the last things Native American's need is the day to day involvement of 'The Great White Father' through such organizations as the BIA.  One example would be that it is illegal for a Native American to own and wear a Eagle Feather unless the BIA has issued it to him, or regulates where and when a Native American is allowed to fish in order to feed his family!  Just because we find that many cultures are different, does not mean that it is the 'Majority Culture' way or the highway!

I believe Chief Joseph had great insight:

"The earth is our mother. She should not be disturbed by hoe or plough. We want only to subsist on what she freely gives us. Our fathers gave us many laws, which they had learned from their fathers.  These laws were good.

I have carried a heavy load on my back ever since I was a boy. I realized then that we could not hold our own with the white men.

We were like deer. They were like grizzly bears.

We had small country. Their country was large.

We were contented to let things remain as the Great Spirit Chief made them.

They were not, and would change the rivers and mountains if they did not suit them."

Chief Joseph

1 John 1:7 teaches us; "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin."

In my opinion, one of the sins of the Non-Native Church is the failure to understand that this verse requires that the Native People who believe in the Name of
JESUS are to be accepted as equal Followers of JESUS in the Body of CHRIST.  Failure to accept this truth keeps most of the Non-Native Church in ignorance, and in some cases deliberate arrogance and bigotry.

Read The Words Of RedCloud's Song; "Koyote Gospel"

This Song Accurately Tells The Truth Of Millions Of Native American Peoples And Countless Nation's:

Koyote Gospel:

Heres a little blanket that my grandmother knit.
One side is buffalo, and coyote split.
A pair of beaded moccasins i hope they fit,
this is the strongest horse that you left us with,
and Im the strongest engine in my tribe you know?
and Ill give you my soul if you let my son go...
Ill give you control of all that I own, of all that I hold of all
Ive been told.
We are naked and poor and we will fight no more
My family was massacred in white mans war.
We take it that your going to be here for As long as the sun doesnt
shine anymore.
You tell us that youve come to spread the gospel of God
Is the raping of our women in the gospel of God?
Is the hunger of our children in the gospel of God?
Is it awesome to God to see the red mans blood?
Is our crimson skin a sin to your men?
Will your savior save us again and again?
You tell us to bow to your virgin statue Cursing every person for
ancient values.
"Bow to that woman or we will grab you,
bow to that woman or we will stab you.
Choke you slap you beat you drag you."
Im in pain would you help me, could you can you?
Mercy on my soul virgin Mary Im alarmed...
My God has not come and I am disarmed
I believe the one thing that can do no harm.
Is the baby in that Virgins arms. (c'mon)

hook: Walking trials through blood and flame like a desert calling
scarlet rain.
purify this broken land, and heal us from the will of man.
I need you to hold my hand and help me take a stand.
You still accept my sinful life... you are the love of my...

verse 2: I remember when I was a little child...
I wandered off into the woods about a couple miles.
My father came to find me scared and deep inside the wild
He held me in his arms and looked me in the eyes and smiled.
he said "Cloud what a curious raccoon youve been,
I know the scent of cinnamon has probably lured you in.
But in those bushes youll find rattlesnakes and mean serpents."
When I met you I knew exactly what my father meant.
You yell, "Repent or well burn this blade into your flesh."
Right now your righteousness aint really making any sense.
Killing our families in their sleep by burning down our tents.
Its too intense, still you are calling all of US savages...
No offense but we turn our backs and you attack...
You did the same thing to that man whos skin is painted black.
You made us many promises, but never kept but one...
You promised you would take our land and what was said was done.
(c'mon)

(verse 3)
Life is a temporary light in the night
Death bites when its coming from a spear to your side.
Its the silence of the soul as its summoned to the sun.
Its the thunder in the gun and the hunger in the drum.
The battle is done but the war is yet to come
The priest in the mission says there is a kingdom
Were you recite the psalms and sing the sad songs
And spring out the clouds with wings like falcons
Adobe mansions, teepees like canyons
Supper with the father of all creation.
Forget about the pearls that are placed on heavens gates
Mother Mary gets praise from you but were awake
I read your holy book but I am on another page
and praise the carpenter thats risen from the grave
Who gave his only life so that tribes can get saved
Now thats a true brave, my troop can relate.
Who can disgrace the truth, the finger points to you.
The finger points to me, the finger points to him...
The finger points to sin and thats the sin in man
and thats the way it is and thats the way its been.
And he will sin again and he will then repent from there he will
ascend or pay the consequence
Your bible says he lives and that he forgives
But to know he exists I need a sign from him.
I saw the cross in the center of the medicine wheel
I believed it was real and I can feel I was healed. (x2) (c'mon)
